The Writers Guild recognized both veteran and first-time contenders in its nominees for this year's kudo's.

Among the original and adapted screenplay nominees, Woody Allen earned his 19th WGA bid, for "Vicky Cristina Barcelona"; Eric Roth earned his fourth career nom, for "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button"; and Joel and Ethan Coen nabbed their fourth, for "Burn After Reading."
