* GMAC Insurance president and CEO Gary Kusumi has been elected chairman of the board of directors for the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). During his tenure as board chairman, Kusumi will work to further IIHS research on safer vehicles, driver behavior, and roadway design. Kusumi succeeds Richard R. McLaughlin Jr., vice president of Arnica Mutual Insurance.
