Chrysler LLC is developing programs aimed at building owner loyalty, to compensate for the company's withdrawal from U.S. vehicle leasing.

Deborah Meyer, Chrysler's chief marketing officer, said the company is reviewing 16 new initiatives, including greater emphasis on customization and vehicle service by dealerships. She said Chrysler has formed a group to update loyalty strategies.
