The Nando's restaurant brand is going head to head with premium crisp brands Kettle Chips and Tyrrells with the launch of Nando's Peri-Peri Chips this month.

Produced by Devon-based Burts Chips, the 150g sharing bags will be available in 400 Tesco stores nationwide from 5 November.

They come in three flavours--Peri-Peri Chicken, Smokey BBQ Peri-Peri and Hot Peri-Peri--and are 1.59 [pounds sterling] a bag, the same price as Kettle Chips and lop cheaper than Tyrrells.

(Newser) – Police grilled a Fresno, Calif., man who was foiled after he decided to spice things up a bit during a home break-in, the Fresno Bee reports. His sleeping victims said they awoke to find him hitting one with a sausage and rubbing seasonings on the other. The alleged perpetrator, 22, was found in his underwear in a nearby field. He’d thrown away the sausage, and a passing dog ate the incriminating evidence.
