I think it's fair to say that there was a bit of Kathie Lee Gifford fatigue going on around the time she left her co-hosting gig on "Live With Regis and Kathie Lee" eight years ago.

She was at the center of so many controversies during the later years of her 15-year run with Regis, from her husband's infidelity to a scandal over the working conditions at the factories being used to make her clothing line.

But absence does make the heart grow fonder, and it's kinda nice to have the force of nature ...
