But Angelina Jolie has revealed she is ready to turn her back on acting to focus on a different role that of mother.

The 33-year-old says she wants to cut down the number of films she makes from as early as February to spend more time with her six children.

The Oscar-winning actress, whose partner is 44-year-old Brad Pitt, gave birth to twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon in July. The couple also have a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Shiloh, and adopted children ...

The "ultimate avatar of fantasies," her onscreen roles have reflected her personal evolution: from wild child to crusader to Brad Pitt's "wife."

"Angelina is a new kind of movie star in just the way Barack Obama is a new kind of politician," writes Cohen, declaring her an "archetype" on the level of "Elizabeth Taylor in 1951." Jolie dishes on how she and Pitt "feel married," the loss of her mother, and how she's giving her nontraditional family "the childhood I always wished I had."
