Recycling event planners aim to amp participation

The city of Naperville Public Works department will provide residents an opportunity to dispose of unwanted items without hurting the environment this weekend, at the second annual Naperville Reuse and Recycle Extravaganza from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Naperville North High School.

The event will accept used electronics, scrap metal, books, bicycle parts, American flags and more.
