Australia have replaced Brett Lee with Shaun Tait for the three-match one-day series in New Zealand, seriously affecting the World Cup hopes of the nation's fastest bowler.

Lee returned to Australia last night and will see a specialist in Sydney after taking a fall during training on his left ankle, on which he has had three operations.

Team physiotherapist Alex Kountouris said a decision was made, after an MRI scan was completed, that the best medical decision for Lee would be to return to Australia and have his scans ...
