TAM takes delivery of Airbus A319.(TAM Brazil, Airbus S.A.S.)(Brief article)

Brazil's TAM SA (NYSE: TAM and BOVESPA: TAMM4) this week added a new Airbus A319 aircraft to its fleet.

The airline said that this is the third Airbus aircraft from the A320/A319 family incorporated this year into TAM's fleet.

The company also returned two Fokker-100 aircraft this month. All Fokker-100s operated by the carrier are planned to be gradually substituted by Airbus A319/A320 aircraft through to the end of 2008.
