'Jericho' turned into a winner.

Sep. 28--The saga of Jericho is remarkable. This CBS series debuted last fall to negative reviews. After taking a break, the show returned in dramatically improved shape at midseason.

Then things turned really interesting. CBS canceled Jericho in May. Fans rescued it in June with an imaginative campaign: shipping nuts to CBS executives as a tribute to Jake Green (Skeet Ulrich), who says "nuts" in the season finale.
