The Washington state Department of Transportation issued the following news release:
The heavy rain has passed, but flood waters may continue to rise throughout the day. Drivers are encouraged to slow down, drive for conditions and expect water over several area roads.
Drivers can check their route before they go at www.wsdot.wa.gov/News/Update. WSDOT will update this Web site as conditions change. Updated travel information is also available by calling 5-1-1.
As of this hour, WSDOT has closures and traffic restricted at the following locations:
