COVINGTON RESTAURANT OWNER STOCKS $25,000 PRIZE

The Georgia Lottery issued the following news release:

Lady Luck stuffed a Covington restaurant owner's holiday stockings with a beefy prize. Sue Holliday, owner of the Covington Diner, won a $25,000 top prize playing the Georgia Lottery's holiday-themed Stocking Stuffer instant game.

Holliday, 59, purchased the ticket at Chevron Food Mart, 11230 Highway 36 in Covington.

"I scratched the ticket with a coin and threw it in the air when I saw that I'd won," she said. "My oldest daughter was standing next to me at that moment."
