IT seems TOM HANKS is returning to HBO as a producer -- he's apparently getting close to sealing a deal to bring the book Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F Kennedy to the network.

Variety reports that the megastar is looking to turn the new tome by Vincent Bugliosi into a 10-part series, much like his previous productorial effort Band Of Brothers. The book suggests that, in spite of all the conspiracy theories, Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone.
