India: Cochin industry body comes up with waste-to-energy project.

Cochin Chamber of Commerce & Industry has said it has come up with an innovative waste-to-energy model that treats all kinds of garbage, including non bio-degradable waste, to produce energy for power generation.

The chamber president Mr Jose Dominic said under the 'Cochin Waste 2 Energy Project,' unsorted waste would be gasified at a high temperature and atmospheric pressure in a patented process to produce energy for power generation.
