MGM unit United Artists has set a release date of Nov. 9 for Robert Redford's "Lions for Lambs," the first pic from the unit since Tom Cruise and Paula Wagner went into partnership with the studio to relaunch UA.
The film, which stars Redford and Cruise, along with Meryl Streep, Derek Luke, Michael Pena, Andrew Garfield and Peter Berg, went before the cameras Jan. 29.
Nov. 9 date would pit the pic against Warner Bros.' Vince Vaughn comedy "Fred Claus," Focus Features' Terry George-helmed "Reservation Road" ...
