NEW YORK (AP) — HBO and U2 are collaborating on a double-barreled special about the veteran Irish rock band's current world tour.

The network said it will air a documentary in November about how the "iNNOCENCE and eXPERIENCE" show was put together and how the band overcame obstacles, including singer Bono's serious bicycle accident, to perform. U2 is currently on a run of shows in New York.

A week later, on Nov. 14, HBO will air the band's concert in Paris, France, recorded on the day that it is being shown.

Davis Guggenheim, maker of "An Inconvenient Truth" and also a documentary about U2's "Achtung Baby" album, will produce and direct the film about the tour.
