More than 100 Tibetan exiles have been arrested in northern India today during a march to protest China's hosting of the Olympic Games.
The protesters, who had planned to march from India into Tibet, are charged with threatening the region's "peace and tranquility."
A march organizer tells The Associated Press the protesters have begun a hunger strike.
India fears the march could embarrass Beijing and has sent in police to keep the exiles from leaving the district that surrounds Dharmsala. The Indian city is the headquarters of the Tibetan government-in-exile.
