Moulson scores twice, Sabres beat Capitals 6-1

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Matt Moulson scored twice and Sam Reinhart had his first goal of the preseason in the Buffalo Sabres' 6-1 victory over the Washington Capitals on Wednesday night.

Reinhart, the No. 2 overall pick this summer, caught goalie Philipp Grubauer out of position with a wrist shot goal in the third period.

Tyler Ennis had a goal and two assists, and Drew Stafford and Marcus Foligno also scored. Jhonas Enroth made 22 saves, and Brian Gionta and Chris Stewart each had two assists.

Jason Chimera scored for Washington. The Capitals played without Alexander Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom.
