ADAM'S TEST

Cardinals ace Adam Wainwright likely will find out how long he'll be sidelined amid speculation he's done for the year because of an injured Achilles and left ankle. He's set for an MRI in St. Louis.

WREADY FOR WRIGLEY

Cubs rookie second baseman Addison Russell gets to make his Wrigley Field debut when Chicago opens a series against Pittsburgh. At 21, he's the youngest player in the National League. He had his best game yet on Sunday, hitting a three-run double for a 5-2 win in Cincinnati.

TEN AND COUNTING

Collin McHugh takes a 10-game winning streak when the AL West-leading Astros visit James Shields and San Diego. He's 3-0 this year, extending the longest active string in the majors.

FRESH AIR

Tampa Bay plays outdoors for the first time this year when it visits Yankee Stadium. The Rays began the season with 19 games inside domes. "I want to put some sunglasses on for batting practice," Rays manager Kevin Cash said.

WHO ARE YOU?

After starting the season with 19 straight games vs. AL East opponents, the Orioles play outside the division for the first time when they host the White Sox.
