LYONS, Colo. (AP) — Two young brothers who died after falling into a fast-moving river in Colorado on Mother's Day have been identified.

The Larimer County coroner said Monday that 7-year-old Daniel Foreman and 10-year-old Paul Foreman of Lyons both drowned in the Little Thompson River Sunday afternoon. Their deaths were ruled accidental.

Several emergency agencies rushed to the site after they fell into the waters near Pinewood Springs, which were cold from melting snow. The sheriff's office said the boys were unresponsive when they were pulled out of the water.

The Denver Post (http://dpo.st/1T1vDCq) reports the boys were with other children when they somehow fell in.

The area, lined with granite rocks, is a popular swimming spot but signs warn people to enter at their own risk.
