FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — The Latest on the fatal shootings at a Texas dance studio (all times local):

9:55 a.m.

The owner of a Texas dance studio says a group having a party on the property wasn't authorized to be there ahead of a shooting that left two people dead and several others injured.

Laura Reyna is the owner and artistic director at Studio 74 in Fort Worth. She tells The Associated Press that there was no contract for the group to be at the studio at all on Friday night and that she considers it trespassing.

Jason Moore was working at the studio when gunfire erupted outside. Moore says he tried to resuscitate one of the victims, but he was shot in the lungs and died at the scene.

Reyna says Moore had thought incorrectly that the group was authorized to be there.
