Car satisfaction survey at a glance

The American Customer Satisfaction Index is a quarterly survey by the University of Michigan that measures customer satisfaction in various industries. The latest auto industry survey, released Tuesday, questioned about 5,500 vehicle owners by telephone had a margin of error of plus or minus 2 points on individual manufacturers. The average score was 82 out of 100 points.
