Pakistan wins toss, bats 1st against New Zealand

Pakistan captain Younis Khan won the toss Tuesday and elected to bat at the Zayed Stadium for the first one-day international against New Zealand.

Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik made way for Khalid Latif, while New Zealand decided to rest Kyle Mills and James Franklin.
