Brewers manager Ken Macha is out of a job.

Macha tells The Associated Press that team management says he won't be brought back next season.

The Brewers held a club option on his contract for 2011. Macha had two losing years as manager in Milwaukee, and finished this season at 77-85 with a loss Sunday.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel cited unidentified sources earlier Sunday in saying Macha would be let go.
