Officials say a young boy has been taken to a hospital after falling some 50 feet from a luxury suite into the lower bowl after the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors game at Staples Center.

Arena spokeswoman Cara Vanderhook tells City News Service the boy between ages 2 and 5 fell several minutes after the Lakers beat the Warriors 117-89 on Sunday night.

The boy fell from the third deck of luxury seats.

There was no word on his condition, and messages left with paramedic and fire officials were not immediately returned.

Witnesses who saw the accident's aftermath said the boy could move his arms, legs and head before paramedics took him out of Staples Center.
