LOS ANGELES (AP) — Audiences had a number of new movie-going options over the Thanksgiving weekend, including "The Good Dinosaur" and "Creed," but it was "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2" that held on to the top spot for the second weekend in a row.

The final chapter in the "Hunger Games" saga earned a hefty $52 million, bringing its domestic total to $198.5 million. Disney and Pixar's animated family film "The Good Dinosaur" took second place with a solid $39.2 million.

"Creed," a continuation of the Rocky legacy focused on Apollo Creed's son, took in $29.6 million — slightly less than the studio estimated on Sunday but a coup nonetheless for the critically acclaimed film that cost only $35 million to make.
