Kate Seamons is the president and editor-in-chief of Newser. Having been with the company since 2007, she previously served as its managing editor. Prior to Newser, she worked for the Chicago Sun-Times, where she led its first web-only content effort, and was Chicago Magazine’s nightlife critic. She has served as editor-in-chief of various websites for the better part of the last decade, and has also blogged on behalf of companies like Starwood Hotels, AmericanExpress, and Special K. Kate is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
