Ned Desmond was president of Time Inc. Interactive (TII), the group within Time Inc. charged with creating and implementing its Web strategy and operations. TII worked closely with the brands at Time Inc. to re-conceive, re-design, re-staff and re-build the formerly magazine-centric Web sites at People, Entertainment Weekly, Time, In Style and the Southern Progress titles. Desmond was founder, editor and president of the Time Inc.-backed eCompany Now, a monthly magazine and Web site, which later acquired and merged with Business 2.0, a similar publication. He is a graduate of Amherst College and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He was also a Reuters Fellow at Oxford University.
