Steve Vivian joined Prism Capital as the second full-time professional in 1999. He is a Partner in both Prism Opportunity Fund and Prism Mezzanine Fund and is responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring investments. Mr. Vivian is a Former Chairman of the Board of Governors of the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies, Co-Chair of the Institutional Investor Task Force Committee of the Illinois Venture Capital Association and has served as the President of the Midwest Regional SBIC association. He is also a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. Mr. Vivian received both a BS degree in General Engineering and an MBA from the University of Illinois and spearheaded the university's establishment of the Stanley C. Golder Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurial Finance.
