U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents intercepted more than 40 kilograms of opium at the Anchorage international airport this week, the agency said Tuesday. The dope, worth some $16 million, was shipped from Thailand and was bound for Wisconsin, said Jerry McGee, chief CBP officer in Anchorage.
