The freshly divorced head of state has been spotted lunching with an ex-Bond girl, flirting with a well-known playwright, and carrying a letter reading “I haven’t seen you for an eternity and I miss you... a million little kisses," reports the Telegraph.

Neither Nicolas or Cecilia Sarkozy was strictly monogamous during their marriage. Cecilia left Nicolas for another man in 2005, and he consoled himself with a political journalist. And Sarkozy has work to do if he wants to challenge his predecessors' skirt-chasing reputations—Francois Miterrand had two separate families, and Jacques Chirac's nickname was once “three minutes including shower."
