How to Spend $4M in a Day
Yeah, you're going to need a lot of these.   (Shutter Stock)

Recession? What recession? Inspired by the $175 cheese sandwich that some fancypants cheese show unveiled this week, The Frisky puts together a fantasy day in which you could spend more than $4 million:

  • Breakfast: Stick to your budget with a nice, simple bagel. A $1,000 bagel that is, served up at the Westin New York with—what else?—white truffle cream cheese and, obviously, gold leaves.
  • Go to work: Yes, you still have to work in this fantasy universe ... but you can use your Stuart Hughes MacBook Air Supreme Ice Edition, a steal at $200,000. Why so much more than a normal MacBook Air? Because it has 25.5 carats of diamonds, of course.

  • Lunch: Let's keep it simple for the mid-day meal, shall we? Just a hot dog. A $69 hot dog, that is, appropriately named a "haute dog" because it includes duck liver, truffle mustard, and heirloom tomato ketchup, among other things.
  • Dinner: Finally, time to unwind after a long day. What you need is a $3,000 martini! It's worth it, because the pick (made out of sterling silver) doesn't hold olives—it holds diamond and sapphire earrings!
Cick here for the complete run-down, including a car that goes for a cool $1.7 million and bottle of water that costs $60,000. Yes, $60,000.
