Fashion Designer Unveils Spray-On Clothing

(User Submitted) – Spanish fashion designer Manel Torres has created a new line of clothing that molds to your skin—literally. The "fabric"—made up of short fibers mixed with a polymer, which is then mixed with a solvent—is sprayed directly onto the skin, drying instantly. While the idea may seem a little silly for practical use—it's evidently very cold when sprayed on—it may lead to development of other technologies, such as spray-on bandages and upholstery. Why not-we have spray on hair already courtesy of Ron Popeil. Hopefully they have spray on pockets as well for those dumb enough to want to buy this crap!

The stolen items include clothing, shoes, and handbags that had been showcased on a New York runway back in September, reports the Wall Street Journal . The label has duplicates, and the theft should not affect delivery orders to retail stores. German designer makes eco-friendly clothes from drink

(NEWSER) - For the fashion industry, cows provide more than just leather. Combining her knowledge of biochemistry and clothing design, a German designer has begun making clothes from a textile that’s made of pure milk, the AP reports. It feels like silk, is as washable as cotton, and is good for the environment—and on top of that, it’s great for those with sensitive skin. Anke Domaske aims to start mass-producing the material, called Qmilch, next year. LRG Designer Jonas Bevacqua Dead at 34

Founder of hip-hop brand found dead

(NEWSER) - The co-founder of the hugely popular hip-hop and skateboarding clothing brand LRG has been found dead in his Laguna Beach home. Jonas Bevacqua was 34. There was no obvious cause of death, and an autopsy will be conducted, AP reports. LRG, which the designer founded when he was barely out of his teens, branched out from clothing into music and other items, which supported up-and-coming recording artists. More»
