UFO Holds Up Chinese Air Traffic

Alas, the lights might just be military tests

Three Chinese passenger flights en route to Batou, Inner Mongolia, were forced to circle for an hour because of a UFO, the Telegraph reports. The object seemed to hover spastically while blinking until it suddenly vanished. Airport authorities held the flights and redirected others "to guarantee safety," a spokesman said. This is the eighth UFO sighting in China since June. Little green men? Not quite: Most have been chalked up to either military tests or a Chinese custom of putting LEDs on kites and flying them at night.
