Rosie Stands Up for View Gals After O'Reilly Walkout

At least they still see eye-to-eye on some things

(Newser) – Rosie O'Donnell may have some problems with her former View co-hosts, but she's on their side when it comes to the recent Bill O'Reilly blow-up. O'Donnell doesn't seem to fault Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg for walking off on O'Reilly: She said on her radio show, "Why would you book him?" and a member of her guest panel said he "incited hatred," PopEater reports. But Rosie's harshest words are—privately—for Barbara Walters, who chided Behar and Goldberg on air.

"Rosie thinks Babs should have stuck up for her girls," a source says. "It doesn't matter who was right or wrong, Bill was a guest in her house and he was very rude and belittled her ladies." For more of Rosie's thoughts on Barbara, click here.

O'Reilly was rude? Rosie should look in the mirror if she wants to see rudeness. The program with its yentas should be renamed to "The House of Rude" instead of "The View."

If anyone is that pompous and patronizing to me, I walk away also! Bill did everything but call them "little girls". I think they did exactly the right thing--this is about manners, not issues. He has none.

What a laugh. Rosie's opinions matter? To whom? Geez. O'Reilly was invited because "supposedly" the VIEW is supposed to have people on from all persuasions. But Behar and Whoopie like to jump on anyone of opposing views, and swoon over those that are like theirs. O'Reilly is not a hate monger, he speaks direct and without PC. They prompted the argument .... he gave it to them, and they walked off because they could not argue their case without the typical name calling and personal attacks common to the Liberal.
