Well at least he wasn't behind the wheel. Colts punter Pat McAfee was arrested for public intoxication after he reportedly took a very early morning swim in a canal in Indianapolis's nightlife district. Police, who nabbed the 23-year-old at about 5am, says his blood-alcohol content was 0.15, nearly twice the legal limit—and his answers to their questions seem to point to him being more than a little buzzed. When asked if he had been swimming, he told them, "I am not sure." His explanation for being wet? It was raining, he said, then changed his story, explaining his shirt had been "in the water."

Police asked McAfee how much he had to drink. "A lot cause I am drunk," he said, according to the report. Police were first called after a driver stopped at a red light reported that a man with no shirt approached her car; fearing the man was going to try to get in the car, she ran the red light and called 911, reports the AP. "We are in the process of gathering the relevant facts," says the Colts president. "When that task is complete, we will deal immediately with the issue of club discipline."
