Also, he's not irrelevant

(Newser) – Michael Steele has had it with Democrats whining about the GOP taking money from foreign donors, reports Politico, and today went on the offensive, telling Nancy Pelosi to "put up or shut up." “If you think there is something out there, disclose it Nancy,” Steele told Meet the Press. “Don’t just make the charge. Put the evidence out there, and then let’s have the discussion.”

And for those tongues wagging about Steele's efficacy, "I'm not irrelevant," he says, citing GOP fundraising that beat out Dems in seven of 11 months last year. Steele credited himself with having put in place a "grass-roots, bottom-up" network that "you'll see unleashed on Nov. 2." As for his own reelection in January: ‘We'll worry about my reelection after I get through this reelection."
