PETA to LiLo: We'll Pay for Rehab If...

...she becomes a vegan. Or $20K of rehab, at least

(Newser) – If Lindsay Lohan really wants her stint in rehab to be sponsored, all she has to do is give up her addiction ... to meat and cheese. Headline-grabbing PETA has reached out to the star, offering to pitch in $10,000 if she goes vegan for the rest of her stay—and another $10,000 if she remains vegan for a year afterward. "Lindsay Lohan is the most visible example of a real addict, and if she can conquer her addiction to meat and cheese, absolutely anyone can," the PETA prez tells the Los Angeles Times.

PETA to LiLo: We'll Pay for Rehab .... Oh well I thought train wrecks were covered under Amtrack casualty insurance or something similar to it.

She has much more deep seeded troubles than eating meat and cheese. She's been the breadwinner to a money grubbing family since she was 14 yrs old. No kid should have that kind of pressure. She has to break that cycle, break her addictions to chemicals. Then maybe she can explore dietary changes. PETA needs to leave this girl alone.

Good for PETA. I assumed they were going to make her swear off of furs and leather products. I'd say "you go girls !!!" but of course there are guy PETANS too. Personally, I've always been a PETA ist. A very simplistic one of course.

(NEWSER) - The good news: Lindsay Lohan managed to avoid a second jail stint, with a judge recently ordering her back to rehab instead . The bad news: LiLo can’t actually afford rehab. "Three months at the facility will cost her almost $50,000, which she doesn't have,” a source tells PopEater , adding that the starlet now needs to find a sponsor: “Lindsay manages to live high off the generosity of others. LiLo Leaving Rehab and Hollywood

Lohan can probably still party in New York, though

(NEWSER) - Lindsay Lohan will likely get out of rehab early, and when she does, don't expect to see her in Hollywood. "She'll be coming back to New York," mom Dina tells Today , adding that Hollywood is "different. It's a different game you play there." Dina says Lindsay's rehab stint "will be" shorter "because the judge recused herself" from Lohan's case .
