Austrian incest monster Josef Fritzl has granted his first press interview, boasting to reporters that he's "world famous," "loves" the daughter he repeatedly raped for 24 years, and is convinced his wife is still in love with him. "My dream is to get out of here alive," said Fritzl, who is serving a life sentence for raping his daughter some 3,000 times in the basement dungeon where he fathered her 7 children (he incinerated the body of one baby who died). Though Fritzl , 75, broke down in tears in court when he confessed his crimes, reporters from Germany's Bild newspaper were convinced during the interview that he felt no remorse.

When Fritzl used the word "love" to describe his feelings for his now 43-year-old daughter, "we reporters were speechless," said the Bild article. "Fritzl went on to talk about his wife as if he were a completely normal husband." Frizl said he has written to his wife eight times "but I never got an answer." Still, he hopes to get out of prison so he can "look after" her again "because she was always loyal to me." None of Fritzl's 13 children have visited him, and he's convinced authorities are keeping them away. He tends plants in his cell and watches TV for a distraction. His favorite show is Charlie Sheen's Two and a Half Men. "The small boy reminds me of my son," Fritzl said. "It makes me laugh. Being dead sad all the time destroys the soul."
