Sure, Linda McMahon is running for US Senate, but surely the WWE will stay tastefully above the political fray, right? Yeah, that’s possible. Alternatively, Vince McMahon could pretend to unwittingly poop on a campaign sign belonging to his wife’s opponent, Richard Blumenthal. As you’ve probably guessed (or seen for yourself in this video), McMahon went with the latter.
To be fair, the skit isn’t particularly heavy-handed. McMahon awakes from a coma shocked to discover that his wife spent $50 million on her campaign. “I hate politics!” he growls to his doctor ... played by Freddie Prinze Jr. It's all one big poop-joke from there, but hey, no one's expecting Daily Show-level humor from pro Wrestling, Mediaite points out.
