(AP) – The woman considered to be the world's oldest person has died in the French Caribbean island of St. Barts. Eugenie Blanchard, 114, had been a nun with the nickname of "Sweets" because of her kind nature. Next in line is an American, Eunice G. Sanborn of Jacksonville, Texas. She was born a few months after Blanchard, on July 20, 1896, in Louisiana.

hahaha - you're seriously squabbling over 6 years regarding social security? Really? The woman is still OVER 100 and that in itself is an accomplishment by any standards. I doubt she faked it purposely but rather needed a birth cert at some point. Either way - you make a statement without proof. Though it really doesnt make any difference at this point. Always some small minded sad little idiot out to hurt a "sweet" natured person to make themselves feel better about their tiny miserable little lives. "Sweets" should be applauded for her accomplishment and perhaps we should learn from her kindness - which could just be the thing that has kept her alive so long in a world of rapidly increasing aggression.

Just a few more years and all of the people born in the 19th Century will be gone.

I'd love to see what she says about this.
