Christine O'Donnell: I'd Date a Democrat

As long as that Democrat 'doesn't mind being wrong a lot'

(Newser) – Christine O’Donnell and her large American flag pin appeared on the Tonight Show last night, where she divulged that she actually comes from a fairly liberal family—and she would consider dating a Democrat, as long as he “doesn’t mind being wrong a lot.” O’Donnell’s mother and most of her siblings are Democrats, she told Jay Leno, and she’s considered “one of the black sheep” for being conservative: “That’s how I learned how to debate.”

She’s also voted Democrat (“of course!”) because she votes “for the person that I think cares the most and really wants to serve.” Other topics of conversation included Sarah Palin (“an amazing woman”), the Saturday Night Live “witch” skit (“I laughed”), and her anti-masturbation comments from the ‘90s (“That was more of a ministry opportunity than a political statement”). She doesn’t know if she’ll run for office again, but told Leno she’s received a lot of “interesting” offers, “anything from a book deal to a reality show.”

“That’s how I learned how to debate.” ----------------------- Debate ? Is this woman a "Master DeBater" ? Where were these debating skills during the debacles with Coons ? And the real question: Are conservatives, and Tea Baggers in particular, really this damn stupid ?

I have a feeling she is very kinky. I wouldn't mind being wrong if she bends over at Masy's dressing room with her panties for a gag :)

With all due respect for her thought process I would imagine Ms. O'Donnel and I would have very, very, very little in common. I like to think I'm opened minded, curious, educated , with a college degree, an Army vet, plus I've have traveled in all but two of our states plus 46 countries including China, Iran, Honduras, Thailand, Yugoslavia, Mali, Bora Bora, Yugoslavia, the Phillipines and most of Europe working as a filmaker and journalist and eager traveler. I've learned to listen, ask questions and try see "reality" from others eyes as I see and learn. I don't know Ms. O'Donnel but what I saw and heard on TV re: her thought process makes me grateful she's not in a position to make decisions regarding the future of America. I doubt if Ms. Donnel has spent any time with inmates in prison, starving children in Africa, homeless people, destitue Native American indians, or a hospital emergency ward on a Saturday night in the inner city. Surely any woman who has something in common with the Limbaughs, Hannitys, Coulters, and Becks of the world would not find me very interesting I'm sure. Your loss, lady!
