Facebook is thisclose to getting its desired trademark on the word “face,” at least when it comes to online chat rooms or bulletin boards. Now, Facebook must file a statement of use and pay a fee; an attorney will either approve or refuse the statement. If approved, registration is typically issued within two months. Facebook has at least 15 other trademark applications, including some covering the word “like.” Click here for more.
