In what is sure to stir the climate debate further, a respected climate research center in the UK says the evidence of man-made warming is “overwhelming” and has increased in 2010. The Met Office Hadley Center reports rising sea water temperatures and sea levels, shrinking glaciers, and higher humidity levels. The data was collected from a variety of sources and analyzed in collaboration with more than 20 institutions from around the world, reports CNN.

While some evidence pointed to a slowdown in the rate of warming over the last decade, researchers were confident of the long-term trend. "It is clear from the observational evidence across a wide ranger of indicators that the world is warming," says a center official. "The signals of warming are as strong as they ever have been."
