NASA's planned announcement at 2pm has been leaked a little early... In the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in California, scientists have discovered a new bacteria living in the poisonous arsenic waters of Mono Lake. All previously known life has consisted of six basic components: carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus and sulfur. An organism made completely of arsenic with DNA totally alien to anything known before, dramatically expands the possibilities of potential life forms throughout the universe. No longer do scientists have to limit their search for extraterrestrial lifeforms only to Earth like planets. Read the full article.
