A German TV contestant who was supposed to leap over a car driven by his dad using special spring shoes was critically injured when the stunt went horribly awry. Officials believe the shoes worn by 23-year-old Samuel Koch malfunctioned as he hit the ground, causing him to suffer severe spinal injuries. The live broadcast was halted for the audience of some 10 million and the accident caused the cancellation of a Justin Bieber concert that was to follow in the same stadium. Bieber tweeted an apology for the cancellation, but added that "some things are more important than putting on a show," AP reports.
