Teens assaulted in tents: police

(NEWSER) - A Brooklyn man has been arrested for two sex assaults on teenagers at the Occupy Wall Street camp in Zuccotti Park. One of the victims, 18, reported to police she was raped in a tent in the camp; a 17-year-old protester said she was groped in her tent. Tony Iketubosin, 26, has been charged with third-degree sex abuse in that incident, and still faces charges in the rape, police told the Wall Street Journal . WikiLeaks founder wanted for questioning in Swedish rape case

(AP) - A Swedish prosecutor has asked a court for an order to detain Julian Assange for questioning on suspicions of rape, sexual molestation, and unlawful coercion. The prosecutor says she’s asked for the order because investigators haven’t been able to bring the WikiLeaks founder in for an interrogation. (NEWSER) - Angry Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is blaming a conspiracy smear campaign for the rape charge that was filed against him last week, then quickly dropped, by Swedish authorities. "It is clearly a smear campaign," Assange told Al-Jazeera yesterday. "The only question is, who was involved?" 'Gerontophile' attacked women as old as 93

(NEWSER) - A Londoner has been busted for a host of crimes, including rape, targeting the elderly over the last 17 years. Delroy Grant, 52, appears in court today to face 11 charges of rape, burglary and indecent assault. But police believe he is responsible for some 108 crimes, striking as often as 5 times in a single night. Grant is charged with attacking victims from the age of 63 to 93. More»

(NEWSER) - Police fear London's "Night Stalker" is on the prowl again after a recent series of burglaries that included at least one sexual assault of an elderly woman, reports the Telegraph. The mystery man is believed to be responsible for some 100 break-ins that have involved sexual assaults of both elderly men and women. The man is believed to be employed, with an outwardly normal life, but spends nights satisfying his obsession. He wears a mask and wakes his victims with the light of a flashlight. More»
