George Huguely admits drunkenly breaking down Yeardley Love's door. He admits shaking her while her head hit the wall several times. That blood was flowing from her nose as he threw her on her bed and left. But what killed Love was likely the Adderall in her system and 0.14 blood-alcohol content that could have produced a cardiac arrhythmia, a defense expert testified yesterday, disputing the coroner's conclusion that blunt force trauma to the head was the culprit.
The defense is seeking the release of Love's medical records, reports Aol News, a move Love's family and the prosecutor are opposing as a "fishing expedition." The judge is reviewing them to decide if they're relevant to the case. Huguely, who has been in solitary confinement since Love's death in May, did not appear in court yesterday.
