Five girls ages 14 to 19 attacked a pregnant teen and her boyfriend on a packed Seattle bus—and no one jumped in to help, ABC News reports. A disturbing security video helped police find the perpetrators of the November incident, who can be seen kicking the boy's head and torso. “The ferocity, the intensity, the unprovoked nature” of the attack made the video “shocking to look at,” said a police rep.

One suspect accused the male victim of having stolen her cell phone, police said. The pregnant victim had never seen the girls before; her boyfriend had seen one at a party, but said he hadn’t taken her phone. The younger attackers face felony robbery charges; a 19-year-old faces a second-degree assault charge. A subsequent health check found the baby was fine.
