(Newser) – Hundreds of people have been trapped in the rubble of buildings toppled by a 6.5 magnitude earthquake that jolted the country's southeast region late last night. The death toll currently stands at 7 but it is expected to rise significantly, CNN reports. Some two dozen villages have been wholly or partially destroyed, and rescuers are struggling to reach remote areas hit by the quake. The epicenter was near the city of Bam, where a December 2003 earthquake killed 30,000 people.

Obviously some imaginary god is punishing them for failing to accept Jesus as their lord and savior. Oh, when, when will they learn?

This quake must have struck the country because their women don't dress modestly.
